Resting in the bosom of my love I hear the whispers of her heart; This is…

Language of the Heart
By Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

Beat-Beat… Beat-Beat… Beat-Beat…

Your heart speaks the language of love. The heat of our flames stir up a spiral flared staircase facing upwards towards hidden desires. Intoxicating are the depths of your eye’s, they reveal to me a soul secured in the Ark of Endearment, carried away by waves of silk and satin the garments of passion; taking breaths in as we step into a blue paradise, loves heights.

Beat-Beat… Beat-Beat… Beat-Beat…

Your heart speaks an eloquent riddle in my ear, seductive whispers I hear: Each word a puzzle peace carefully placed, a glorious portrait they paint; each subtle cares of the canvas sends chills through the core of my existence; by reasons unknown I am subdued by your loves tone.

My Will is stolen away by a symphony blending you and I- Each touch must be a thrust through the heart beating, seeking….

Beat-Beat… Beat-Beat… Beat-Beat…

Tell me O heart; what other Dreams can you speak…?

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot † see the kingdom of God.

Birth Pains

By LIMITLESS

OH!!!
How frustrated are my desires, wanting to break-out into what I’ve always dreamed of; the place my heart always loved: But I struggle to break the cycle of the matrix; dreams kick, dreams kick, dreams kick like over lapping contractions I run gaining traction despite the recurring distractions.

OH!!!
This process is extensive; too stretch my faith as wings caught in the wind carried away by the grace given, my movements inch’n me closer to my breakthrough, hungry to breath my first. I grow more eager to finally exhale my dreams.

OH!!!
How my frustration intensifies with every denial I encounter. I double my efforts to break-out: but the more I progress the tighter the stress until…

OH!!!
One last push is demanded, THE PAIN IS SO MUCH I CAN’T STAND IT; then the portal parts, moving with great haste I accelerate the more, fueled by the anticipation of my first taste of freedom.

AH!!!
I’m out of the cycle of lack & frustration. I’ve been born again, blessed to exit the birth canal named ‘Transition’; I’m now in position growing stronger with every decision, staying true to the heavenly vision, MY GOD…, I have risen….

“And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof”- (Gen. 2:19). What do you name your situations, How shall you define your reality? This is…

Redefining Reality
By Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

March 1… 2… STEP”- A term that defines they which have been labeled as weak, they that now speak in cadence, marching towards what they once feared. These are the footsteps of those who are bold at hearts center, they enter the Frey with a mind to come out on top of the crop, stemming from a holy line that has no end, these Sons of God are become my brethren.

Eternal gaze- An out-look over all that is made possible by the promise of inheritance; A mind spending time giving consent to all the good creation brings in front of me, “loved I’m that”, it says. Its pathway laid in certainty, knowing that the King & I live eternally.

Determination- A soul which is time consumed, stocking the passion of haven everything God promised. A Spirit that shall obtain a level gained when the Lamb took flame and became the ruling lion hearted his blood marked it, heavens gates…, my finish-line target….

I wrote this poem after watching the movie ‘Red Tails’ which is about the Tuskegee Airman, a group of African American Fighter Pilots who flew during World War Two; the film inspired me to write this poem. I truly hope I’ve done their legacy justice. This is…

We Fight… We Fight… We Fight…
By Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

From the moment the engine cranks, to the taxi onto the runway, they we’re faced with the challenge of succeeding in a world designed for them to fail.

From the moment that first mighty breeze lifted their wings into the atmosphere of uncertainty: to the time they flew in the face of discrimination, disrespect, & segregation.

From the moment of calm before the first shots are fired, to the pounding of the heart when they recorded their first kills; They fought… They fought… They fought….

They fought for respect, they fought for love, they fought for their families & friendships: but most of all they fought for their Country…
…They fought for us.

“From the last plane, to the last bullet, to the last man, WE FIGHT, we fight! WE FIGHT we fight! WE FIGHT!”

A Leap of faith is a poem I wrote with the intent of painting the picture of actually stepping out of your comfort zone too reach for what your believing for, trusting that when you step off the ledge, you will not fall. This is…

A Leap of Faith
By Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

Darkness surrounds behind closed eye’s. I’m standing at the edge commanding the light to come. Girding myself up in the garments of courage, the mark of a Son, I run, & run, & run until all is still…. I feel the release from all that oppressed me: all that held me back binding my footsteps to the wrong track. But here I have no fear, no doubt, nor unbelief; I’m free to extend my wings: I’m free to reach beyond the impossible. Disregarding the bitter seeds that where sown in a young heart; I’m finally starting too live the life I dream. I’m far above the storm clouds, looking down at the fears I once halted at.

My footsteps make their imprint in the clouds, I number them one through nine, on my way too ten I drop the weights that where rooted with-in, Looking up, I see the Star’s beckoning me to ascend; Then I’m hit with ray’s of hope shooting from a freshly risen sun. I take one breath shaking off any reasonable doubt, harnessing the strength of the wind, releasing the desires given I shout, “I CAN FLY”; there’s no fear of falling, just a serene peace I’ve sought since the day I was released from the spell of the beast. I now fly amongst angels, holding conversations with constellations, and it only took one extraordinary leap….

Abduction- Law. The illegal carrying or enticing away of a person, especially by interfering with a relationship, as the taking of a child from its parent. This is…

Abduction
By Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

“Back in tha day when I was young, I’m not a kid anymore, but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again”….

Remembering way back when I was a child holding my pain with-in, driven to sin: a mark of one trying to fit in. Mistakes taken with a grain of salt, I remember screaming in the mirror, “IT’S YOUR FAULT”. Time taught me through harsh tasks to master my maturity: but Me is all I wanted to be. See my childhood was all good- from the outside, yet inside a little child was struggling to survive.

I went from rejection to rejection until low-self esteem became my inception, the tears I shed fell with perfection. Silent screams raptured in dreams, escaping reality through my imagination helped me build dreams worth chase’n; I wrapped them in a fist of iron to keep them protected, vowed that my life will be one respected. So much held in, misunderstood thoughts found strength in a pen; when ink mated with paper, the purging flames of desire forged the nature of a fighter.

Years went by & I’m older now, bolder now, but this world still seems colder now: I sit wishing I could find that inner child now; I’d tell him thanks for the memories, for the joy found in the midst of the storm sent to destroy; I wish I could find that little boy who sat back watching cartoons. Reminiscent thoughts lost in the view of the moon. I’m hoping that lost little boy would be found soon….

“Back in the day when I was young, I’m not a kid anymore, but somedays I sit and wish”….

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3 KJV)

Birth of spoken word
By Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

Gross darkness ruled the realm; movement rendered num & motionless emotions missed this soulless abyss; this unlit canvas, this formless void; like soil awaiting the arrival of seed it rests purposeless; this darkness, this empty space full of life it contained, waiting for the day preordained; its day promised its desire to fulfill thought admonished by imagination breathing with intent awaiting illumination of expectation: then came the exhale of change…. What preceded next was the first commandment to creation. Forth came the words that set picture into frame words that began all, seen & unseen, words orchestrated in thought then spoken to the deep… LET THERE BE LIGHT…
These Words no-longer hidden spoken words etched into history as it is written… & there was Light & God saw the light, that it was good….

We who believe must continue through the trial’s & opposition’s that life brings. Trusting in God who gave us the grace-full ability to clinch our hands around victory: that is our faith which overcomes the world, this is what we must hold on to. Until our…

Journeys End

by Edward LIMITLESS Taylor III

blood veins flow hope exchanged, from prison chains to free mind changed,

Rearranged sight towards the horizon shining with the fresh ray’s of day break;

My fate’s far from fake wishes, waved the past goodbye blowing anointed kisses.

My expectation doubt misses, my eyes are focused on the line where my faith finishes,

All words are loaded potent & powerful enough to effect change,

With-in the hour watch me tower over opposition standing victorious praising He who glorified us;

I pursue with more trust towards vision invested in the promise of greatness achieving all that was believed,

Watching the growth of faith planted seeds, reaping harvest,

Oh! How my soul starved for this moment shifted in a blink of an eye.

I rise from dust to beyond the sky shaking the foundations of heaven my cry;

Cries pour out tears from fountains overcome with desire fulfilled,

Thrilled tones, open the heart to receive honor, purpose, & dreams, returning to a popper turned King;

Swing with consistent motion rolling with the wind in step on this journey,

Till Heavens end….

“But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” -(Rom 7:24) There is a war going on in your mind; a battle between good & evil, righteousness & Sin But the Victory is yours… As soon as you awake to the realization that the fight is to believe Gods word & the one whom he has sent to dispense his grace unto you, until then, your time in the reality of mediocrity will keep on…

TICKING AWAY

by Edward (the Limitless Poet) Taylor III

Time ticking away, bitterness pining at my day, exposing cracks of unresolved frustration & decay…

Time ticking away…

Eye’s bloodshot soaked with tears, glazed over with the cloak of depression;

If I knew the purpose it might relieve the pressure off my surface…

Time ticking away…

Worthless my efforts seem only if time I could redeem:

Only if I could open my chest & let my heart scream,

…HELP ME…

Would my cries be heard? or would tears drop like acid rain corroding all hope?

Time ticking away…

My futures in the distance, will someone teach me how to bring it into today,

To make it alive, to dispel the self lies…

“you can’t make it”

“you’ll fail”

Let the truth in me reply…

GO TO HELL;

Time ticking away…

The brightness of morning marks a new day;

Self speaks with truth language, gloom evaporates away & the showers of night lift;

A multicolored sign of promise bows in the sky, with hope renewed,

I now have strength to pursue & pursue I must cause…

time

is

still

ticking…

These next series of poems are my version of freestyle, I call it freetyping, I wrote what came to mind in that moment, here’s the first with a little editing, This is…

UNLAWFUL
by Edward (Flowx10) Taylor III

Patience held in contempt waiting for grace to hit. Mind now exposed to limitless favor ears captured by words…

…Nature changer…,

Mindsets shatter like glass…

…Truth blast,

NOW seed can grow like refreshed spring grass; AT LAST, hear the sound of chains dropping to ground, legs unbound,

feel… feel…

FEEL…

Blood rushing to ground, flowing to wrist, my lungs never tasted freedom like this.

Unrestricted vocals lash out in shout, eyes overloaded with joyful tears, crowns fall in worship as Kings kneel down,

…FREE AT LAST…

Shatters the shroud & rips the Vail, blindness is removed as glory shines through,

The LAMB was slain for sins that where mine, fulfilling the shadow leaving it cursed to a tree…

…HE FREED ME…

An unlawful abiding citizen…
