This poem is the best way I can express how I feel when I hear the voices of wisdom when I remember them; This is…

REMEMBRANCE

by LIMITLESS

Thinking back, linking photographic memories to still picture,

tracks,

remembering the smiles of loved one’s departed from sight;

(ha)

I even miss the fights, the disagreements, & the laughter that followed after pride was swallowed.

I remember my Elders through the wisdom they gave me; I remember my Elders through their words,

they live on,

for their care fashioned me strong.

I must go on pushing through the pain,

I have to go along with the plan that took you out of hand and into arms,

 Heavenly.

I can’t wait to hear your stories

 again;

 I wish I paid more attention to them when you where before me

not realizing their value I erred thinking they bored me

I hope you have forgiven my youthful foolishness

I wish I could’ve done more then this;

wanting to show my appreciation I will live-

in your words

you exist,

still!

taking your correction

your wisdom muscle still flex’n

to my friends I’m professing your words

such a blessing

knowing your watchful eye is still glaring, your voice still blares your cultured catch phrases:

“BOY YOU CRAZY”,

“SAUSAGE, boy get out the way”,

&

“SHUCKY DUCKY, QUACK, QUACK”

I catch the tears that attempt to call you back hearing your words to keep me on track;

you tell me to stay focused, the more you loosen your grip on the past the tighter you can take hold of your future present’s

“you can’t put new wine in old wine skin’s”

“you live your life”

“We’ll be here always,

waiting,

resting,

in your remembrance”….

Homesick- sad or depressed from a longing for home or family while away from them for a long time. I wrote this free-written poem while I was dealing with an eternal longing to see a place I can only visit in my dreams; This is…

Eternal Desire

by LIMITLESS

How should I proceed?

Shall I weed out this weakness,

this fading bliss which grows from ignorance into substance, rather than faded wish’s,

imagination lands on the mind as soft as true loves kisses;

my vision for this life is paradise.

I find the breeze of this vanishing dream cold when played in memory, awaking to a forcefully imposed reality.

Knowing this is all temporary;

The eye’s of my soul still remain hungry, desiring to see My…,

…home…

The origin of time where only spirits roam…..

An imagination, especially when extravagant and unrestrained; in other words…

A FANTASY

by LIMITLESS

“what’s My fantasy woman like?”

“Owww-man!”

She is a golden road to paradise; twice she has drawn from the well of my heart dipping into pools of romance and desire- at the center an unquenchable fire, blazing, grown’s of lust uncaging, for She is my fantasy.

“How did we meet?”

She caught eye as I entered into the room her fragrance consumed my senses,

Her sculpture I found delicious, my heart growing more ambitious with each step towards her.

(She turns)

In seconds our eyes lock, our souls talk, together we walk into a life one can only imagine;

glancing at her lips as they utter expectation

our conversation turns to verbal love making,

embracing mutual genius.

“I can’t believe this!”

our laughter shake’s heavenly rafters, “what?”, she asks- her voice the  tone of the finest silk.

Her lips carried the sweetest hint of milk chocolate.

Each second spent with her infinitely drives this want….

Then,

(eye’s open)

“The illusion ends…..”

It was a moment in the dream line of time;

She,

was my fantasy.

My eye’s close once again;

my mind flows reflecting on a not so distant reality, recalling visions of an alternate casualty,

“I’ll find her one day!”

“I promise….”

I raise the question, is the term “love at first sight” true, and if so, how fast can it happen…?

In Seconds…?

by LIMITLESS

Standing, no distracting, my focus is in your focused eyes on me

mine on you

I see your beauty from skin to soul deep

speaking to you fantastic, we engage in the most extravagant dialog

a romantic scene

between two loves connecting mutual respecting attraction inhaling your laughter absorbing every touch

must overlap

separation not an option this continuity continually grows in seconds–

love connection,,,

Looking back over most of my adult life I realized that to strive for perfection is a reachable goal; what perfection means, too me, is that you have abtained the realization that who you are is perfectly fine and that all you do, how you do, and why you do is what makes you, You- the essence of perfection. This is…

WHO SAID?
By LIMITLESS

Who said you’re not perfect?

Who said you weren’t worth it?

Every imperfection seen by eye’s, which peer upon the looking-glass, failing to see perfection in seeming flaws,

God created,

Life from imaginations bare essence creating a being so complex it views every misstep with the bitterness of regret

Due to a vision clouded by ranted eye’s which will never realize their own perfection,

Even though the mirror faithfully teaches the lesson,

“you are beautiful”

You are, in all your flaws,

Perfection….

Butterfly Fly
by Edward( Flow x 10) Taylor III

Beauty unfolds before creation, breath halted, caught in amazement, moments frozen by picture’s taken emotions overtaken by Beauty; white wings unfold, veins flow with fire, muscle’s receive strength, eye catches glimpse of unfolding beauty.

A stretch in the wind as beautiful colors thicken, life begins, bright eye’s widen, tears fall when grace takes flight, then praise ignites, love excites; 47 wing strokes take Beauty to highest only seen in scripture quotes;

Now out of view, true, But Beauties flight continues. So know that Beauty is forever with you, in a unique places you can even touch Beauties face, so place your faith in the arms of the King & be comforted, for in your purpose you can hear Gods beautiful Butterfly sing…

We love you Lady Vanessa (R.I.P) & love to the Waller & Jackson family.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. (Pro 3:15) this is…

Elements of She

by Edward Taylor III

How long will the simple feast at the banquet of fools –

When it’s her insight they hunger for?

She possess a beauty which is to be more sought after than the rarest pearl in the sea.

She veil’s her face behind the shadow of words, to find her is to find understanding.

She walks in a garment meant for royalty.

She stands atop the highest peak calling out to those who need her compelling men to seek her.

Kings lust for her presence, rulers become beggars at her feet.

She is the guide leading men through the mist of choice-

When She spoke to Me…

her voice…

The very essence of reason.

She taught me her way’s;

She showed me great mysteries, & as I rested in her bosom..,

The waters of time stood still, frozen as a river caught in winters chill.

I soon fell in love with the warmth of her inspiration,

& when I awoke!

I found myself wed to her.

(…Sigh…)

awww-

Wisdom…

This poem came after the reveling open heart surgery God preformed during the latest Together Ministry; Much was revealed to me as a husband, things I never considered, things I’ ve grown to take for granted in my marriage; so I wrote this poem as my official apology to my wife, I love you sweetheart, & I apologize…

I Didn’t Know

Edward Taylor III

I didn’t know how my ravenous lust would put you in a rush to lend your heart & loan your trust.

I didn’t know that the promise of that day would put you under a curse called ” The Christian Wife of Today”.

I didn’t know how I took you for granted forcing you to obey a husbands harsh commandments.

I didn’t know that the ring would cause a sting from the nine tailed whip my tongue could fling, putting you in slave bondage when your supposed to be my queen;

I didn’t know how far I fell when I failed to source you love; I didn’t know that I would be the cause for your eyelid waterfalls.

I didn’t know that I was the one who was supposed to fill your emotional tank, instead of attending to you I took my seat & commenced to drink, watching NFL highlights, while missing the key to my life…

So I wrote this to apologize, please let MY hand wipe away the tears from your eye’s,

Let me be your king who commands the Oceans to relinquish their pearls to you,

Let me be the man who satisfies your inner girl;

Please let me repay you for the time you’ve lost.

I repent to you & accuse myself, because, without you my good is lost & my favor meets death;

So I ask for your forgiveness with a sincere & sorrowful breath–

Please forgive me my wife…,

I Didn’t Know….

This poem was inspired by the powerful healing ministry my marriage is exposed to. I’m thankful that I’m blessed to say my wife & I are stronger than ever. I’m open with this poem because it’s my hope that it will spark a fire in those who read this, and in those who share with me the same desire for a successful marriage . – Edward T.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Pro 29:18) your dreams, your visions, are the very essence & fabric of Gods purpose & intent for your life. So many spend their lives yearning but never seeking for the answer to these questions “what is my purpose?” or “Why am I here?” Instead you spend your time & your energy in frustration living “paycheck to paycheck” ignoring the cry of your heart. This is a poem of that very thing; a poem of what happens…

When a dreamer Stops Dreaming

By Edward Taylor III

What happens when a dreamer stops dreaming?

When there are no more goals to hold his gaze,

His passion a prisoner behind the bars of selfish rage,

Nightmares of failure haunt his sleepless nights,

Frustration begins to consume his starved will to fight;

His expressions are now empty,

They’ve become idle words on a page;

All he wanted was for people to listen & be inspired,

But no one paid any mind to the gift that he gave,

So the dreamer stopped dreaming in the process of time,

His pen left useless, no more thoughts to line;

So what happens when a dreamer stops dreaming?

This is a question I ask myself;

The answer to which remains unknown,

Simply because this dreamer is determined to dream,

Even if he is destined to dream Alone.

Keep dreaming & keep your vision a live GOD BLESS- “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry”. (Hab 2:3)

(Matt 5:16)“ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Be taken away by a peaceful escape from the hectic world around you, step into a place where the reflection of light awakens hidden beauty on a quiet shore, let it inspire you to let your light shine, & awaken the hidden beauty God has placed within you…

Reflection

By Edward Taylor III

The calm ocean waves reflect the blurry shimmer of moonlight as it struggles to penetrate the thick hazy sky. Clouds litter the midnight sky only allowing a glimpse at the striking beauty they conceal.

The stars are hidden by the collection of vapors heavy with the burden of rain, as the clouds move on, the night is transformed by a sudden burst of light, it overwhelms the eclipse of darkness displaying the nights hidden beauty;

The Oceanside comes to life with the crashing of glittering waves; the smooth sand sparkles like a sea of crystal shards, the rocks show their great strength as they stand as a barrier shielding this great treasure from the rest of the world.

My eye’s take in the majesty that is before me, words begin to flow through my mind exciting my imagination, I try to capture the right words to describe this scene of serenity–

(I begin to write)

“The moon mirrors the greatness of the sun reminding me of the great light that reflects out of me”….
