I Desire

Waiting for my life in paradise; no strife or plots against my soul’s life, only joy for all the pain I endured. Purging weeds of frustration with a spiritual sword, so much to life I desire to see LORD I pray free me from this state of mourning, just let me catch a glimpse of the dawn, so much wrong history needs to vanish in mystery so I can plainly see your purpose reveled in me. O, I desire this life so light from the burdens and the cords that restrained me; O I want to be free!

I see the changing of the guard; I see my wounds healing with no memory scares, sorrow so far from me, tasting only the delight of destiny. With only one tear falling from me as my despair washes away, I smile with no fear of what today may bring; where I use to scream now only praises sing from a voice now rested in a sea so tranquil. All I will to do is experience what life really is…
