CAUGHT up,
In a moment, waiting, pacing through back and forth on what’s the next
Time moves passing from frame to frame.
Slowly, I take it in like breath to pen when the wind of inspiration hits it’s like a rhythm begins…
Melodies these words play,
This is word play,
Keys send notes forming this rythem.
They wrestle in tandom fighting for the solo-
Light spots this rhythmic bliss…
On my mind, these words kiss…

I welcome in the brightness of day
Another given.
This legacy has risen to shine, bringing solidarity to the community.
It takes a village to raise a child, providing safety.
Together, we raise the standard of community involvement…
Peaceful steps we place on this road we lay for the future to walk upon…
So let’s make sure our children live beyond today…
Together, we give them a chance…
I wanna see these babie’s dance…
