SECRET SILENCE…

An open smile to resemble better,
But,
Behind this-
This perceived broken self loathing
Choaking on words.
They are rusted daggers at the ready
Held steady by a tempered spirit
Hidden behind this display of strength-
He crumbles without notice…
With silent tears, he holds ground believing…
He has no other choice!
But to…
HE MUST LIVE…
RIGHTEOUS PERSUITS…
THE SWEET TASTE…

Who am I?
A reflection of The KING!
IN I-
looking with a redeeming eye.
I was Blind!
Now I see how I can transform into this new identity,
of me,
The King & I reflecting The King in eye.
Aspiring to do great things with the motivation of a Great Dream.
Sprouting great wings!
Flying higher than the greatest of expectations!
Walking in a forever revelation.

Spending mostly precious time blind to the fact they’re scrolling by…
We don’t talk about our day, Outside of the Mondain complaints
We don’t talk about Our Dreams…
We don’t talk about what’s truly on our hearts…
We don’t..,
Talk,
We scroll from story to story, true or false, someone’s opinion caught up in our mental wash plus the cost is taxing…
How could this be a form of relaxing?!
It’s distracting, Impacting these moments.
Each moment lived only-
once
before
They were counted as noticeable now discarded
Disposable as long as the screen is scrollable…
We need a disconnect to reconnect with Us…
No phones, no tablets, no social anything;
Just Us…
I love US…
I Miss Us…
As we go through a New Year, don’t forget to appreciate the person looking back at you in the reflections of life… Don’t forget all you have LIVED Through… Celebrate every win, big or small, celebrate the person you are becoming. Celebrate Life…
